Patriots Sign Lamont Jordan
Former Oakland Raider and New York Jet - Lamont Jordan has signed with
the New England Patriots. It only took one day after being released for
the crafty New England Patriots to solidify their backfield. The
Raiders failed to trade Lamont and figured they would be better off
just releasing him. Good news for the Pats. Lamont had 172 touches for
796 yards from scrimmage last year which will a nice addition to
Laurence Maroney's 185 touches for 835 yards!
This is just another case of N.E. Patriots making solid additions to a team that seemingly doesn't need them.
